These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of DireNote Media’s website, dashboard, digital tools, distribution system, and all music industry services offered by DireNote Media (“Services”).

By creating an account, uploading content, or using any of our Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Services immediately.

Eligibility & Account Use

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and legally capable of entering binding agreements. If under 18, verified parental or legal guardian consent is required.

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, securing your login credentials, and all activity occurring under your account. Account sharing, impersonation, or creation of multiple accounts to bypass platform restrictions is strictly prohibited.

User Responsibilities

You agree to use DireNote Media’s Services lawfully and responsibly. You must ensure that all content you submit complies with applicable laws, platform rules, and DireNote Media policies.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Ensuring content ownership or valid licensing
  • Providing accurate metadata, credits, and contributor information
  • Maintaining proper permissions from all collaborators
  • Complying with DSP and third-party platform policies

Prohibited Activities

You must not engage in activities including, but not limited to:

  • Copyright infringement, piracy, or unauthorized distribution
  • Streaming fraud, click fraud, or artificial manipulation
  • Misleading artist names, metadata, or impersonation
  • Uploading malware or attempting to compromise platform security
  • Abuse of Content ID, takedown systems, or reporting mechanisms
  • Violation of any applicable laws or third-party terms

Services & Platform Availability

DireNote Media provides digital distribution, royalty administration, publishing support, Content ID services, analytics, promotional tools, and other music industry solutions.

Services may evolve, expand, or change over time. DireNote Media does not guarantee platform approvals, uninterrupted service, earnings, or placements.

Third-Party Platforms

Your content may be delivered to third-party platforms such as streaming services, social media networks, payment processors, and rights societies. These platforms operate independently and apply their own rules.

DireNote Media is not responsible for actions, delays, rejections, or policy changes imposed by third-party services.

Account Suspension & Enforcement

DireNote Media reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts without prior notice in cases of policy violations, fraud, infringement, security risks, or legal requirements.

Disclaimer of Warranties

All Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. DireNote Media does not guarantee error-free operation, uninterrupted access, or specific results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DireNote Media shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of earnings, platform decisions, data loss, or third-party failures.

DireNote Media’s total liability, if any, shall not exceed the fees paid by you to DireNote Media in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.

Updates to Terms

DireNote Media may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
