Revenue Collection And Disbursement

DireNote Media collects and administers royalties generated from digital platforms, publishing societies, and other supported revenue sources on behalf of artists, subject to the terms outlined in this policy.

Revenue Reporting

Revenue data displayed in the DireNote Media dashboard is based on reports received from third-party digital service providers (DSPs) and collection societies. Such reports are subject to delays, revisions, currency conversion, and platform-level adjustments.

DireNote Media does not guarantee real-time accuracy or estimated earnings. Final payable revenue is determined only after confirmed settlements are received.

Payout Methods

DireNote Media currently supports the following withdrawal methods:

  • UPI (India)
  • PayPal (International)
  • Bank Transfer (Domestic & International, where available)

Special or alternative withdrawal methods may be accepted upon request, subject to availability, verification, and internal approval. DireNote Media is not obligated to support all payment methods.

Payout Threshold

Withdrawals may be requested once the minimum payout threshold shown in the artist’s dashboard is reached. Thresholds may vary by currency, payout method, and region.

Payout Processing Timeline

Approved withdrawals are typically processed within 7–30 business days. Processing times may vary due to banking networks, compliance checks, payment processors, or public holidays.

Deductions & Adjustments

DireNote Media reserves the right to deduct, adjust, or withhold revenue in cases including:

  • Platform reporting corrections or chargebacks
  • Artificial streaming or manipulation
  • Copyright disputes or legal claims
  • Outstanding fees, penalties, or contractual obligations
  • Tax withholding, currency conversion, or processor fees

360 Revenue Collection (Optional – Opt-In Only)

DireNote Media offers an optional 360 Revenue Collection service that enables artists to collect additional royalties beyond digital streaming. This feature is disabled by default and is activated only when explicitly enabled by the artist via the DireNote Media dashboard.

By enabling this feature, the artist authorizes DireNote Media to act as a administrator for eligible royalty streams. No rights are collected unless this feature is actively enabled.

Scope of 360 Collection

When enabled, DireNote Media may collect royalties from the following sources, where applicable:

  • Songwriting and publishing royalties via IPRS (India)
  • Public performance royalties
  • U.S. digital performance royalties
  • Mechanical royalties
  • Master royalties
  • Lyrics and text-based publishing royalties
  • Other affiliated collection societies or partners

Publishing Administration

For publishing-related royalties, DireNote Media may register works with collection societies solely for administration and royalty collection purposes. This does not constitute a transfer of copyright ownership. All intellectual property rights remain with the artist.

360 Revenue Share & Fees

Any applicable commission, administrative fee, or revenue share related to 360 Collection will be clearly disclosed in the dashboard at the time of activation.

360 Reporting & Timeline

360-related royalties are subject to extended reporting cycles. Collection societies may report quarterly, biannually, or annually. DireNote Media does not guarantee timelines for receipt or payout of such revenue.

Disabling 360 Collection

Artists may disable 360 Collection at any time via the dashboard. Upon deactivation:

  • No new registrations or claims will be initiated
  • Existing registrations may remain active until formally withdrawn
  • Royalties already received may still be processed

Withheld or Forfeited Earnings

Revenue linked to copyright infringement, fraud, misrepresentation, or policy violations may be frozen, withheld, or permanently forfeited. Such earnings are not eligible for payout.

Account Responsibility

Artists are responsible for providing accurate payment and ownership information. DireNote Media is not liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected payments caused by incorrect details supplied by the user.

Policy Updates

DireNote Media reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the latest version.
