DireNote Media is committed to protecting the rights of original creators while supporting innovation, including responsible use of artificial intelligence. We strictly enforce copyright laws and maintain zero tolerance toward infringement, fraud, or misrepresentation.

Artist Responsibility

By uploading content to DireNote Media, you confirm that you own or lawfully control all rights necessary to distribute and monetize the content, including any rights related to AI-generated or assisted works.

Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited:

  • Unauthorized samples, interpolations, or derivative works
  • Cover songs without valid mechanical or statutory licenses
  • Content using beats, vocals, or compositions without permission
  • Impersonation of artists, labels, or brands
  • Content submitted with false ownership or rights claims

AI-Generated & AI-Assisted Content

DireNote Media allows AI-generated and AI-assisted content only if the uploader holds valid commercial exploitation rights to the output.

Artists must ensure that:

  • The AI tool used permits commercial distribution and monetization
  • The generated content does not infringe third-party copyrights
  • No copyrighted training data is unlawfully reproduced or replicated
  • The content is not designed to imitate or clone identifiable artists without authorization

DireNote Media may request proof of commercial rights or AI tool licensing at any time. Failure to provide valid documentation may result in takedown, revenue withholding, or account suspension.

Loop-Based & Template Content

Use of royalty-free loops, templates, or generative tools is permitted only when the final work demonstrates sufficient originality and creative transformation.

Mass uploads of near-identical tracks, spam releases, or minimally modified loop-based works may be rejected or removed without notice.

Cover Songs & Licensed Works

Uploading cover songs requires valid licensing. Artists must provide proof of mechanical or statutory licenses upon request.

Copyright Enforcement

DireNote Media reserves the right to:

  • Review, reject, or remove content at any stage
  • Disable monetization or Content ID
  • Issue immediate takedowns without prior notice
  • Freeze, withhold, or forfeit earnings related to infringing content
  • Suspend or permanently terminate user accounts

Repeat Infringer Policy

Accounts associated with repeated violations may be permanently banned without eligibility for reinstatement.

Third-Party Claims & DMCA

DireNote Media complies with DMCA and equivalent international copyright frameworks. Valid claims will result in prompt action at DireNote Media’s discretion.

False Claims & Abuse

Submitting false ownership claims, fraudulent AI rights assertions, or abusing enforcement mechanisms is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination and legal action.

Policy Updates

DireNote Media reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
